General tips

Wroclaw can be reached by air or land. You can fly to the Mikołaj Kopernik airport in Wroclaw from: Barcelona, Cork, Dublin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, London, and Paris. CHECK OTHER FLIGHTS ARRIVING AT THIS DESTINATION!

You can reach Wrocław by train from each Host City and from Berlin and Dresden and for the time of Euro 2012 special train connections are activated.  If you want to reach Wrocław from the neighbouring Czech Republic, you can use special trains from Prague and from Brno and Ostrava with the time of arrival and departure correlated with the match times.  Check the timetable at:

Wroclaw can be reached fastest by car e.g. from the German border on motorway A4 and by national road No. 8 or roads 78, 932 and motorways A1 and A4 from the Czech Republic. Access to the centre of Wroclaw and the vicinity of the stadium will be restricted for the duration of Euro 2012. Fans arriving to Poland in their own cars will be able to use Park and Ride car parks located all over the city. For the time of Euro 2012 Wroclaw will launch additional public transport lines. The city will also be marked accordingly, e.g.: the stadium access roads and appointed parking zones will be easily visible.

At that time the most comfortable way to move around Wrocław is by urban transportation. In Wrocław there are 62 day bus lines and 13 night lines, 22 tram lines, including 3 Tram Plus lines between the city centre and the stadium.  During Euro 2012 there will be special city transportation lines activated in Wrocław. There will be special signage in the city – e.g. of access roads to the stadium and special parking zones. During the championship there will also be an increase number of trains between the station Wrocław Główny and the stop Wrocław Stadion.

During the time of Euro 2012 in Wroclaw (and in other Host Cities as well) one will be able to use the Polish Pass facilitating travels by public transport. Another useful pass, the OPEN WROCLAW card will enable users to use public transport and will offer discounts at restaurants and clubs. READ MORE ABOUT THE POLISH PASS!
