A special timetable for the Championship will be available following 23.04.2012.
If travelling to Gdansk by train, it is best to get off at the Gdansk Główny (Main) station from which the city center can be reached on foot within 5 minutes and the Fan Zone – within approx. 10 minutes. Urban transport stops are located directly outside the station from which you can also reach the Stadium and other parts of the city.
The Szybka Kolej Miejska – SKM (Rapid Urban Train) also leaves directly from the Gdansk Main Station from which it will take you to the close vicinity of the Stadium (SKM Politechnika (Technical University) stop or the scheduled Gdansk Stadium stop).
Access to the Stadium:
A special tram marking is scheduled, instead of the currently functioning numbers, for the duration of UEFA EURO 2012™. During the Tournament, a tram marked “STADIUM” will take you to the Stadium from the “Gdansk Główny” (Main PKP Railway Station) stop.
Access – other directions:
During the Championship it will be possible to reach the Park & Ride parking lots as well as the airport by public transport. The airport-bound buses will leave from the “Gdansk Główny” (Main PKP Railway Station) stop and will be marked “AIRPORT” on the screen.
Please bear in mind that additional, well marked public transport lines connecting the sites of interest in the city (The City Stadium, the city Center, the Fan Zone and the airport) will be in operation for the duration of the Tournament. If you wish to travel across Poland by train and find the most convenient public transport options in the Host Cities, check out the Polish Pass offer.
